Dirty Looks

June 10- Gwen, Stu and Stu brought us lunch and hung out with us for a couple of hours. Stu is such a happy, playful baby! Andrés on the other hand, not so happy, at the moment anyway. He's probably thinking, 'it's just not fair that he gets to sit up all by himself and I have to be held like a little baby'. Or maybe he was just pooping.

Papa-razzi & Mama-razzi

June 9- They just won't stop taking my picture. It's like I'm Brad Pitt or something. Ok, so I'm cuter than Brad but still I'm starting to worry, they seem obsessed.

Morning Workout Routine

June 9- Andrés works out like his Daddy. He may be too small for Dave's weights but he can bust some ka-ra-te moves.

Happy Anniversary!

May 27- It was Grandma and Grandpa’s 40th anniversary but Andrés couldn't be there too celebrate since he hasn't yet had his shots, something he's really happy about. They stopped by after dinner but our little guy was fast asleep. That's ok though because Grandma, Grandpa and titi Erica visit weekly; they can't get enough of their first grandchild and nephew. They really just spoil him rotten already!

Friends and Family Day

May 12- First, the Diasos's, Krista, Jack, Marco and Trey came to meet Andrés in the morning. It was our first time meeting Trey as well. He was off eating bagels when Jack took the picture. Marco brought Andrés two presents, which he picked out himself and helped wrap!

Later that day Abuela Ana and Jose visited, they brought groceries, more presents and made us a nice dinner. Dave enjoyed it too; he finally got a break from the kitchen.

Canon Moment

May 6- Andrés takes a nap on Daddy's chest for the first time. Too sweet for words.

Going Home

May 4- Choosing a name was painfully difficult for us. We knew we couldn't leave the hospital without one but none of the names on our list were quite right. I finally threw out Andrés and it was perfect! We swear we saw him nod his approval but we were probably just delirious from lack of sleep.

In true Acosta Fashion

May2- Andrés came 4 days late, on May 2nd at 9:15 PM. He weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz. and measured 21 inches. Much to everyone's surprise Daddy didn't faint, he cut the umbilical cord and everything! Our little guy latched right away and I wasn't in any pain, (yet) since the epidural was still kicking strong. In other words, all was good in Eglewood.
