Easter fun in Central Park

We went into the city last Saturday to hunt for eggs.  Well, there was no hunting involved, they made it easy for us by laying them out on an open field but you did have to fight off all of the other kids.  I never did open the eggs, I tried to crack them on the edge of my basket like a real egg but they wouldn't crack open.  A few days later mami gave me the eggs again and they were filled with Cheerios.  I could've sworn they'd have chocolates in them or something like that. Hmmm?

Titi got up early and braved the cold and wind just to join me, which was great since my mom was stuffing her face half the time and my dad was snapping away.  We fed the ducks together after the hunt.  Here's a kiss for you titi, muah!

Cupcake fun

Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken is the best!  Dada picked up this cupcake for me and it was delicious, maybe they can make me a cupcake of Blue for my birthday.  Mami finished and mailed the invitations last week.  How perfect is it  that my birthday falls right around the time when our tax refund is mailed?  That's the one cool thing about not making buckets of cash, once a year we get a check while others have to mail one.

Speaking of taxes, my aby's birthday falls right on tax day.  We're going to visit her next week and practice the birthday song.  I got the blowing out of the candles down pat, though.

I love my mami

and I used to love the baby in her belly until I saw my dada trying to feel the baby too.  When I saw that I lowered her shirt right away and now I don't give the belly hugs or kisses anymore.  Some things are still the same though, like I still fight diaper changes, getting dressed and I take a bottle at night.  Thanks mima and aby for encouraging this, I love the extra nurturing!
